3 words that describe my practice: Art, design, activism
I’m an artist and designer, I’ve studied MA Womeswear at Central St Martins and MFA Fine Art Goldmiths University. Since 2002, I’ve worked on my own label that was sold independently worldwide. I’m been exhibiting in art shows since 2011. Currently I’m working on curatorial projects and run monthly workshops about the Women of Colour catalogue collated by Rita Keegan, at the Women’s Art Library at Goldsmiths University. My art practice is based on issues of: social justice, media propaganda, confronting and ending racism and Islamopobia.
