Nehanda started her studies in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths College, and completed a BA Hons in Media and Cultural Studies at London College of Communications. In which her area of specialisms were researching the Black British experience, the histories of the African Diaspora and the intersection of identity through the lens of media, culture and art. After graduating, she specialized in developing communication strategies to support small cultural organisations that function outside of the mainstream, whose aspirations are to share their rich cultural legacies with a wider audience.
She currently working at Central Saint Martins as a Personal Assistant, and the Costume Institute of the African Diaspora (CIAD) as their Social Media and Communications Manager.
