Vanessa Kingori, publisher at Condé Nast, will be giving an insight into the industry and her central interest; dispelling the myth that creatively gifted people are not business minded.
Vanessa Kingori holds dual roles at Condé Nast, where she has worked for the past 5 years. She is both Publisher of men’s fashion bible GQ Style, a title which has reached the pinnacle of its commercial success under her tenure, and Associate Publisher – Fashion for GQ, Britain’s most successful quality men’s lifestyle magazine.
The 6th annual Power List 2013 recently named Vanessa one of the 20 Most Influential Black Britons under 40 years old. This accolade highlighted the fact that she is the first black person to achieve the role of Publisher in Condé Nast UK’s 95-year history. She is also currently the youngest person to hold the role.
