We recently had the pleasure of interviewing Laura Raphael about her experience with working with Shades of Noir and the challenges that they faced.
Laura has a BA in Criticism, Communication and Curation from Central Saint Martins and is currently undertaking an MA in Journalism at Goldsmiths. She began interviewing bands for the BBC aged 17 and has produced a number of new music radio shows for The Roundhouse.
For the past six years Laura has also worked in supported housing, helping young people to progress into education, employment or training and towards independent living. She is only too aware of the need to encourage social inclusion and widen participation in higher education, and is looking forward to being involved in the second phase of Shades of Noir.
