Documentary Practice: Past and Future

Interested in documentary photography? Autograph ABP specialises in photography addressing issues of race, representation and human rights. In this discussion two photographers will speak about collaborating with communities, ethical considerations, and how to manage cultural and political sensitivities when making your work.

Black out white noise to make yourself a success

Are you looking for advice on how to make a success of yourself as a member of the BAME community? Our experienced guests from Blacticulate are here to share the positive message that you can. The format is simple – come and hear the success stories of UK-based black individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners, followed by a Q and A session where you can extract invaluable advice, resources and tips from successful individuals who have been there.

She creates: women of colour in graphic design and illustration

This interactive workshop will be facilitated by women of colour who are successful industry practitioners living in, or with links to, London. You will have the opportunity to gain insight into the styles, techniques and cultural influence of their work, inspiring you to incorporate aspects of their approaches into your own creations. Hear our expert facilitators share their stories on how they got started in graphic design and illustration, as well as their tips on overcoming the challenges faced along the way.
