Writer, blogger, poet, and performer Siana Bangura is hitting the road again this October for her second Black History Month Tour! Having killed it across the UK last year and making headlines, Siana returns to mark Black History Month in the UK with a series of talks, workshops and performances in Leeds, Manchester, London, Cambridge, Newcastle, Durham, and Edinburgh.
Having released her debut collection of poetry, ‘Elephant’, in May 2016, Siana will be performing poetry from her bestselling collection and promoting the book along the way.
The ‘CONGREGATION’ tour coincides with the opening of Siana Bangura’s debut exhibition, ‘I, The Angry Black Woman’ & Other Stories, which runs at Buster Mantis in Deptford, London, from Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd October 2016. The ‘CONGREGATION’ tour will close with a performance at the private view and opening of the exhibition. More details about the exhibition to be released shortly.
