Art School is for Everyone: a Conference

25th November 2017 10am – 4pm

Arts SU: UAL’s Students’ Union

We are not afraid to say the current creative curriculum is pale male and very stale. We keep hearing about the artists that successfully made their lives as artists succeed after art school, never of those that struggled and faced a number of obstacles, and never of those who are of marginalised experience. Learning about artists that are more like us is central to a truly liberated curriculum, so come along to our conference and hear from an intersectional group of artists about what it’s like navigating the art-world that can often feel like it is not made for you.

Welcoming artists: Raisa Kabir, Michelle Williams Gamaker
