FREE TALK: Olusola Oyeleye, award-winning writer, director and producer and Dr Susan Croft, writer, curator and Director of Unfinished Histories Ltd.

Explore the history and heritage of black theatre in Britain, and discover the contribution of black actors, producers and playwrights to the UK theatre tradition.
The talk will feature an introduction to the work of Unfinished Histories, a project documenting British alternative theatre.

Accompanying this talk will be a screening of the Heritage Lottery-funded film Margins to Mainstream: The story of Black Theatre in Britain produced by the Octavia Foundation and Nu Century Arts, which features, fascinating interviews with theatre heavyweights, telling the story of a dynamic art form, along with images of work from companies from Temba to Foco Novo, Theatre of Black Women to Umoja.
