A playlist to incite peace of mind.

Whether it is the lyrics, the instrumentation or both.

I put this playlist together to incite catharsis.

Not because I have the solution to yours or the world’s problems.

Not because I have all of the answers.

I am also human like yourself,

I also feel weary sometimes.

Sometimes more so than other times.

I have to find peace within what I can’t control.

I can’t control the state of the world.

I can’t control the actions of others.

I can’t control the future.

I can’t control the past.

So I practice finding peace in the present.

I do this through many forms of release.

Writing, speaking, creating and sharing.

Sharing music is an act of love.

Listening to good music,

is an act of self love.

I love, love.

I love humanity.

I love being able to both receive and share,

the gift of expression.

That is why in this often harsh world,

today I share a playlist to incite peace of mind.

It may be only for an hour, a day, a week.

Maybe the beginning of a lifetime.

It is beautiful beginning regardless.
